There is no more Irish associated place in Yass than Lovat Chapel largely built by Irish parishioners—emancipated convicts, publicans, doctors, solicitors, teachers, businessmen, settlers and their families. It is not only a fitting venue but one with a great atmosphere and an appropriate place to display items of Irish interest from our collection.

A two-course luncheon and refreshments will be served with helpings of music, poetry from Yass’ own renowned poet Fr Patrick Hartigan—John O’Brien of Around the Boree Log fame and several presentations providing historical context. Minister Fleming and Ambassador Mawe will also address the members and guests.

Cost for Members is $35.00 and Guests $40.00 per person.

To make a reservation please complete the form below and ensure you include dietary requirements on the booking form. Make your payment directly to our account Westpac, Yass BSB 032-771 Account No 12 0621 quoting you name on the deposit. Bookings will be confirmed by email after payment is received.
